Wow, what can I say or where do I begin? The 15th Classic R&B Music Event was outstanding and awesome. I had such a great time at Kalahari Poconos, Pa., October 2-6. And to meet the performers, one of my great pleasures was presenting a trophy to Maurice Watts on congratulating him for his 40 years of broadcasting. and congrats to many of the wonderful folks who received plaques from the Classic R&B, I.E Debbie Cooper Howie Vines Marther Hunter, Denise Austin. Another great feeling was meeting Ursula Herring, Connie Davis, and Annette Guest of First Choice, and I must thank Vannessa Jordan of the National R&B Music Society CEO for introducing me to the original member of the Honeycones Shelly Clark, to meet Keith Washington Evelyn Champaign King. I also (thank you Tammy Watts and Maurice) for giving my gift to Stephanie Mills, even though I did not get the chance to meet her, but I was happy about it, and to have a sponsored VIP seat, awww yeah. I truly enjoyed this week and look forward to going again in 2023 as soon as it is announced. I am looking forward to going again next year at the 16th Music Festival (I only hope they return to Kalahari)
